What do I need to use Hay Day Bot?

You need computer with Windows OS and some new farms. If you don't have a computer you can buy cloud emulator.

How to make sure it's not a scam?

Is there a risk of getting banned?

There is always some risk. Never use any bots on your real farms! You should create new farms, use the bot on them and transfer tools to your main farm. In the case of ban you don't lose much.
